Without making a fuss, Google released an app called "Who’s Down" for iOS and Android. Given the company's history of applications, maybe this isn't quite what we've been waiting for.

Who’s Down

Who’s Down is a simple app that allows you to locate friends who are available to go out, go to a bar, have a snack and even... you know.
The operation is very simple, you set your availability and if any of your friends are also available, it can talk to you through a chat to adjust the plans.
You can also define your availability as "cinema", "coffee" or even... you know.
The app is in testing phase and can only be accessed via invitation, so you'll have to wait a little longer to... you know.
