Microsoft released, last Thursday (27), the Office official application for iPad. Experts have been shooting rumors that this version would be released since 2012, but it was in October 2013 that Steve Balmer himself confirmed the existence of the app.
The iPad Office is a turbocharged port of the iPhone version, bringing some features that are only possible by taking advantage of the device's screen amplitude. The package includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The app is free and with it you can view documents and make presentations, however, to edit or create a new document you need to purchase an Office 365 subscription.
