It is with great honor that I come here to thank you who have been with me this whole year, 2008 was a great year for the Defender Team, I think the best by the way, we still have a lot to grow, and I still have a lot to post for all of you. I hope to continue helping all of you, whether with tips, articles or providing email support. To all of you, my dear Thank you so much!

Well, new year, the site has to renew itself once again too, so I'm going to explain some of the changes.
The theme, of course I had to change, the old one was a great theme, but it was very Microsoft-Like, so I decided to trade for a theme a little more professional, that gives the blog a real look. The theme chosen for this change had been the Revolution Church, but the PC Guide published the new version of the site with the same theme. But thank God I already had a card up my sleeve, the Monotech Premium, a very different theme, with side menu, and with the blocks I wanted in the revolution church. Aiming at a performance gain, some plugins have been disabled, and we use few images in the layout, which has already made a big difference. We removed the slide feature that made loading the page slower on low-speed connections. So make the party who has a slow internet (:

The queries to the database were cut in half, and the amount of ads used was greatly reduced, because the Defender Team is already a site of large people and manages to self-support.

The accommodation remains the same, Damonte Host I'm sure it's the best hosting server we've been through, and I hope to stay here for a long time.
