I can't tell what's going on with the planners of Microsoft, but they have been right in several decisions in the development of the new version of the company's operating system, Windows 10.
We know that Windows has always been the most used operating system in the world. This is due to the usability factor, compatibility with the developed programs and even the price of the batch licenses. But, as everything always has a bad side (for Microsoft, in this case), most of these systems used are hacked, that is, they are illegal copies of the system that have been modified to work.
Microsoft does not profit from these pirate copies, of course, but not so will it leave the people who use Windows Leg-of-Pau from the upgrade to Windows 10 that, as we have said here, will be free for those who own Windows 7 and 8.
The announcement was made by Terry Myerson, Microsoft executive, during a technology conference held in Shenzhen, China. Funny that the announcement is made there, it is that according to a study by the company itself, 75% of China's computers use an unofficial version of the system.
In a telephone interview with Reuters, the executive said, "Let's update all PCs that fit in, whether they're using genuine copies or not, to Windows 10." Also, in the interview, Myerson stated that Windows 10 will be released sometime in the third quarter of this year.
Knowing Microsoft and following the releases of new Windows versions since XP, I guess Windows 10 will delay and be released in October. You doubt it?
