Twitter has suffered a significant loss of market value in the last three years, being far from the 50 billion worth in 2013, peak service.
Adding this to the desperation of selling the platform, the current network officials decided to close the Vine app, known for allowing video recording of up to 6 seconds.
Vine was launched in June 2012 and for that time, it was a very interesting novelty, attracting even well-known actors who made mood sketches in the time available in the service, which was acquired by Twitter in October of the same year.
The decision to end Vine was not well received by the public, but we know that services like this do not sustain themselves for long without profitability, i.e. ads or sponsors.
Now, after having their project completed, Vine creators are engaging in a new tool in Periscope and Facebook Live molds: Hype.
The novelty is that the app allows adding some perfumeries to live stream, such as music, animations and even using images from your smartphone to make a real-time slide show.
The operation is similar to that of competitors, notifying users when someone starts a broadcast so they can interact.
Hype was released recently for iOS and should get to Android next.
