The new Xbox One S, as previously mentioned, is smaller. According to Microsoft, the console size was reduced by 40%, leaving it more slim. Hence the S in the name.

The new Xbox One S now had one of three USB ports moved to the front, along with the pairing button, but the Kinect port was removed. To use add-on you will need a special adapter provided by Microsoft. Users who already own Xbox One with Kinect and intend to purchase the new console will receive the adapter for free.

With the new Xbox One S you can watch Blu-ray movies and streaming with 4K Ultra HD resolution on partner content like Netflix and Amazon Video. In addition, the device supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) for videos and games, providing a richer experience and brighter colors in games like Gears of War 4 and Scalebound. According to Microsoft, HDR allows for greater contrast between light and dark, allowing greater visual depth in games and media.
Xbox One S also won a new Joystick. With a more powerful and reliable Wireless connection on the console, the control allows up to twice the range of the previous version.
The control has textured surface, new design in thumbnail-stick to reduce wear and maintain rotation accuracy for longer.
In addition, to facilitate connection with other devices such as Windows 10 computers, Microsoft included native bluetooth joystick support.
Microsoft says Xbox One S begins to be sold on the American market in early August by US$ 399 in the 2TB version. Then come the 1TB and 500GB versions by US$ 349 and US$ 299, respectively. The new joystick can also be purchased separately by US$ 59.
