Facebook announced this week that over the coming days it will make a number of changes available to the social network.
The most important changes are for profiles that, from now on, will allow the use of videos as the main photo. Exactly, it is now possible to record a video and put it as the main image of your account, as shown in the video below.

In addition, Facebook will also allow you to use temporary photos in the profile. You select the photo and decide how long it will be as the main image, going back to the previous one as soon as the given time is over. This function may be useful to indicate when you are on vacation or support some specific cause, as has happened lately.

The profile page design has also been improved, centralizing the image and displaying more information than the previous version. Profile control improvements have also been announced, such as a new customizable space at the top of mobile profiles, where you can select what you want to show people, always controlling privacy by choosing who can see that.
The news is being tested with some users in the UK and California, and should soon reach the other users.
