Google announces the new Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X

It happened today, in San Francisco, the annual Google event, where the company presents its main technological news.
And as expected, the company announced the new smartphones on the Nexus line. Nexus 5X, the result of Google's partnership with LG and Nexus 6P, the latter manufactured by Huawei.

Nexus 5X arrives two years after Google's first successful partnership with LG. With 5.2 inch screen, the smartphone, as well as 6P, also announced today, will come from the factory with Android Marshmallow.

Regarding previous versions of Nexus, the most important novelty is probably the fingerprint sensor on the back. Called Nexus Imprint, the company is betting on the utility digital has for security and user authentication for unlocking and paying, which can be made from your smartphone via Android Pay. Nexus Imprint takes about 600ms to recognize digital and, according to Google, recognition improves over time. Every time you use it, it learns more about your fingerprint, making identification faster and more accurate.
Another interesting novelty is the possibility of opening the camera by pressing the switch to turn twice in a row. The features of the new Android Marshmallow such as Google Now on Tap and the power-saving feature will also be available on Nexus 5X.
The Nexus 5X will be available for pre-sale from today (29) in Ireland, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. In the latter, for US$ 379 in 16GB and US version$ 429 in 32GB version, unlocked. And as a bonus, consumers who purchase the device in the pre-sale will earn 90 days of Google Play Music and buyers from the United States will also receive a US credit$ 50 to use in the Play Store.
In addition, Google introduced Nexus Protect, a service that offers two-year warranty against accidents and hardware failures, costing US$ 69. According to the company, you will receive another device for use when yours is for repair.


Nexus 6P

Nexus 6P is Google's new top line. Manufactured by Huawei, the smartphone shares the digital player on the back (Google Imprint) and will also come with Android Marshmallow.
The difference here is in size. In addition to the more sophisticated and differentiated design, the Nexus 6P features a 5.7 inches AMOLED display with 2560×1440 resolution. Metal housing, 7.3 mm thick, carries a generous 3,450 mAh battery.
