We know that Microsoft leads the market when the segment is office applications. Your productivity app suite is complete and quite intuitive, but it is currently threatened by new competitors such as Google, for example, which allows in their applications editing by one or more people at the same time. Strong spot these days.
Focused on this premise, Microsoft launched today, 22, Office 2016. Among the news, the company implemented resources to help users work better in groups. Word, for example, now allows document co-authoring, allowing users to work together in the same document at the same time. The novelty, however, was announced only for the text editor, but will be expanded to the other applications, according to the company.
Office 2016

As previously said, the boss car of the new Office version is the possibility of editing the same document by two or more people in real time, but this is just one of the new ones.
The new suite also offers the possibility of sharing the documents more easily. Using the button "Share" in the range of options, the program sends the document to the cloud and the people you choose can view it or edit it, add comments and reviews.
Word 2016 and Outlook 2016 have a new feature called Insights. To use it, simply select a word so that additional information is displayed in the task panel. The information uses Bing as a search engine.
The new Office also features the "Tell Me" feature, which displays targeted product information. Instead of consulting all the suite documentation, just enter a question in Tell Me to receive help, helpful tips or steps on how to perform some task. Ex: "How to insert images into document?".
Another interesting novelty, especially for students, is the possibility of converting handwritten equations to text. To use it, simply choose the Insert Equation feature and write the equations in Word, Excel and PowerPoint using the mouse, finger (touchscreen case) or a stylus pen.
In addition to new features, Office 2016 brings a series of bug fixes, improvements in document version history and the possibility of changing the look of apps with themes.
