A network failure has made it impossible for Skype users, Microsoft Instant Communicator, to access the service. Off the air since 5am, the responsible team is still working to restore the operation of the app in its entirety.
Users all over the world claim difficulty in logging into desktop and mobile applications. Others can log in (my case), but the app keeps trying to reconnect and establish the status, leaving the contact list offline.
According to Skype blog, the problem has already been identified and does not affect Skype for Business users.
