Calls with "unknown number" may be numbered days

unknown number
You probably have already received a call with "private number" or "unknown number" on your phone, or even already configured the functionality on the carrier so they do not see your number. So, according to the news published in the Senate Portal, this function may be with the days numbered.
The Senate Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation, Communication and Informatics (CTC) will hold a meeting on 25th to discuss the matter. Among the agendas to be discussed is the mandatory access to the code that originates calls by the user, thus allowing the identification of the number that is making the call. Currently this code can be hidden, giving rise to such calls with a private number.
This situation is raised by the Senator Vital do Rego (PMDB-PB), with the PLS 433/2013. According to the Senator, the bill aims to avoid crimes committed by phone calls and censors the abuse of telemarketing companies and telephone operators.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. and has other topics to be discussed, such as the examination of the replacement to PLS 18/2012, by Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI), which imposes a new rule on the offer of discounts in the tariffs and prices of telecommunications services, such as telephony, broadband and pay TV. According to the project, users benefiting from discounts should be informed about the end of the incentive at least 30 days in advance.
