Contributor: Google launches new tool to monetize websites

The survey giant launched on Thursday (20) a service similar to crowdfunding, but with the sole purpose of collecting financial returns for website owners.
We're talking about Google Contributor. The service basically consists of giving the opportunity to the most faithful readers of some site contribute with small monthly amounts, initially US$ 1, US$ 2 and US$ 3.

In return, the reader who makes the contribution no longer sees Google's own advertisements inside the site, giving way to grateful messages for being one of the "content sponsors". Everything is done with the user's Google account, allowing automatic customization of the ads of the sites it contributes.
The service is still being tested by the giant and has only a few registered American websites, among them the Mashable, imgur and wikiHow. If you are interested, just access the Contributor page and register to know when the service will be released for everyone. https://www.google.com/contributor/welcome/
