Currently the Mozilla browser comes predefined with Google as the main searcher, since 2004, it can be changed to the Bing, Yahoo!, eBay, Amazon, Wikipedia and Twitter.
According to Beard, the company's proposal is to promote choice and innovation, giving users a sense of greater control of their online lives.
The partnership, with an initial duration of five years, starts to hold as of December, when U.S. users will have access to an "enhanced search", with a new design and optimized algorithm. Remember that other searchers will remain available, just select your favorite in Firefox settings.
