Microsoft Promises Office Interaction Support with Open Pattern

Microsoft announced on Wednesday (21) that it will start from next year to make it easier for ODF (Open Document Format) users to work with their Office software package.

The company reported that without adding any special software to the Office, users will be able to open documents recorded in the format. Office users can also save jobs in format.

"Microsoft will provide support for three new formats directly in the Office," said Erich Anderson, vice president and attorney general of the company for Europe.

In addition to ODF, Office will support PDF format, Adobe format, and the PDF rival, the format known as XPS.
