Several Windows 7 screens recently appeared on internet. And there's even an alpha screencast. The graphics are obviously of an alpha version and may be different in the final version. There are still not many details about architectural worlds and people like Russinovich just say they are not ready to reveal everything yet.
I even understand that Windows Vista has a higher internal architecture than Windows XP, but the impression I have is that it became old news too fast, even before Service Pack 1 was released.
Anyway, what many users want to know is if system will consume even more resources, will have retroactive compatibility through virtual machines or not, but for now, we will have to settle for seeing graphics that don't say much.
See other images in TGDaily ed screen Full. No Thinknext, the screencast.
