Microsoft has reached the end of the story with Yahoo! and now will focus on his own strategy of becoming a leader in providing online services, said Microsoft International president.

"We decided to move on. Basically we withdraw our offer and continue to execute our strategy of becoming a leading provider of internet services in online ads, media, social networks and so on," he said.
Asked if this would really be the end of the story with Yahoo!, the executive replied: "Absolutely, that's the end of the story. We are moving forward because our strategy is very clear. "
Yahoo!'s chief executive, Jerry Yang, said on Monday (5) that it is still open to a possible agreement with Microsoft and that it was the software company that decided to abandon the negotiations.
"We never said there was a price to take or leave," Yang told the "Financial Times" newspaper.
