There are still several speculations about the official date of release of Windows 7 RC 1 (Release Candidate). Some blogs claimed that RC would come in February, but a source linked to Microsoft said it will not be ready this month.

At the moment, Windows 7 RC is being tested internally on Microsoft and the alleged official release date is April 10, 2009. If all goes well, this date will not be changed.
