Available only in the United States and United Kingdom until then, Skype's web service has finally reached Brazil. The announcement was made by Microsoft on Monday (15).
From now on it is no longer necessary to download the app to make voice calls, video or message exchange. The novelty is available at the address web.skype.com. Just log in with your account to see your contacts and message history.
Of course, the service is more limited than the official application, but allows greater flexibility of use, being compatible with Windows, Linux and Chrome OS itself. The service also supports notifications on the desktop if the user allows it. To make video and voice calls you need to install an extension.
According to the company, the service is available in 30 languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, English, German, Greek, Spanish, Estonian, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.
