Google announced last Friday (12) YouTube Gaming, section of YouTube focused on the community gamer.
Clearly rival of Twitch, YouTube Gaming will have dedicated pages for more than 25,000 titles. As in competition, the service will focus on live video streaming, where players can comment on their favorite games and broadcast their matches.
According to Google, new features will be announced in the coming weeks to facilitate the transmission sharing process, eliminating the need to schedule a broadcast as occurs in official YouTube broadcasts.
According to Alan Joyce, product manager, YouTube Gaming should be released by the end of September, initially in the United States and the United Kingdom. In addition to the website, the service will feature Android and iOS apps that will have, in addition to channel access and streaming, notification options for your favorite channels. So you know when a channel started a broadcast.
If you want to stay informed about the service, follow the official profile in @YouTubeGaming and register on the official website: https://gaming.youtube.com/.
