The Twitch, a transmission service widely used by gamers around the world, has adopted yet another controversial measure this week.

By updating its rules of conduct, the service decided to ban all games classified as "Adults Only" (AO), according to the ESRB, the body responsible for this regulation in the United States. This measure will be based on games classified in the United States, others classified in other countries as 18+, but receiving the M seal in the United States, will continue to be allowed. How is the case of GTA V.
It is worth remembering that most games classified as AO are those that have explicit sex scenes. However, some other titles receive the seal for containing an extreme level of violence, as in the case of Manhunt 2. For classification, ESRB has a database that can be consulted Here..
According to an announcement, made on the official Twitch blog, the service wants to create a receptive, safe community where everyone feels comfortable and enjoys themselves. Before the service chose which games would be prohibited for broadcast, sometimes for containing sex scenes, sometimes for containing too much violence, but this is unsustainable. That is why the complete ban on the AO classification.
It's not the first time that Twitch has taken a stance more conservative. A while back, the service fired a statement that gamers (mainly female) would use more discreet clothing in their broadcasts. This is because the girls were taking advantage of cleavage to generate audience in their broadcasts, but this attracted people with no sense and comments began to become offensive.
