Naviator: An amphibian drone that's scary.

Drones are the sensation of the technological world some years ago, but stop to think how many devices have been lost because of the driver's lack of skill or simply falling into the water. This happens more often than you think.
Now imagine an ideal future where there is a drone capable of flying and swimming. Well, he already exists.
Students and researchers at Rutgers University in New Jersey decided to put an end to the problem once and for all and ended up creating something close to the apocalypse.
It is the Naviator, a drone capable of flying like any other, but the device is also capable of swimming. The project, led by Javier Diez, professor of the university's mechanical engineering and aerospace department, is funded by the U.S. Navy and can contribute not only to military purposes, but also to research into oil leaks.

Diez claims that the prototype is functional, but works to find a solution for communication with the device when it is submerged, since radio waves are not effective for this. For now the device works with a direct connection to the controller.
