Time ago I found Write!, a minimalist text editor who fulfills the simple mission of... well, letting you write. With the motto of "free of distractions" the app allows you to edit your texts, make corrections, revisions and save in a native format of the program.
There is also the tab option, allowing you to work on multiple texts at the same time, or use other spaces to assemble drafts as you wish.
Write! is distributed for free and for one week you try the version Pro, with extra features such as private cloud, online document publishing directly through the app and unlimited "ctrl + z". After the period, you get the basic function of the program if you decide not to sign the US plan$ 4.99 a month.
Write's only hindrance! is that it was distributed only to Windows systems, leaving other users out of play. Like I said, it was, because now it is available also for Mac OS.
