The South Korean electronics manufacturer, Samsung, today presented (01) two new Galaxy S line devices, they are: the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge.

The new design, impressive at first glance, brings a glass and metal finish, unlike the other versions of Galaxy S. The new device, released in two versions, brings the same specifications for both, but the version Edge has a rounded display at the edges, making it possible to add new features to the sides of the device.

One of the news that the company emphasized in the presentation of the device at Mobile World Congress 2015 is the battery. Now it is no longer removable, following the line of new smartphones on the market. Samsung also stated that the technology of the new device allows it to have the fastest battery charge in the world. This means that with ten minutes connected to the socket, the device generates battery autonomy for four hours of use. The company also claims that the S6 takes half the time of an iPhone 6 to complete the battery charge from 0 to 100%.
Hardware
The new Galaxy S6 comes with screen 5.1 inches Super Amolded, with Gorilla Glass 4, plus 3 DDR 4 memory GB – replacing S5 DDR 3 – and octa-core processor 20% faster than Galaxy S5.

The camera has 16 megapixels, which appears to be enough for a "top of a line" smartphone. The Galaxy S6 also features a 5-megapixel front camera. In addition to the improvements in camera capabilities, there is also a 1.9 (which I did not understand correctly) sensor that makes it more light in dark environments. To get an idea, the company compared it to the iPhone 6 camera.

There are no slots for memory card on the new device that will have versions of 32, 64 and 128GB of storage.
System
Who expected a "pure" version of Android went bad. Samsung worked to get Galaxy S6's Android 5.0 Lollipop to have its own identity, but gave up some features of the old Touchwiz interface from previous devices, trying to make it cleaner.
Samsung Pay
In addition to the new devices, Samsung took advantage to announce "Samsung Pay", its smartphone payment system. The new system blends NFC technology with MST, unlike Apple Pay, where the store needs an NFC terminal to operate. According to Samsung, only 10% of companies in the United States have NFC terminals.

With the MST of the new devices, just release the access through the biometric reader on the button home, select the payment mode (debit or credit) and position the smartphone next to the payment machine per card.
Samsung Pay should work with 90% of US companies, in partnership with Visa and Mastercard, American Express, Bank Of America, Citi, JP Morgan Chase and US Bank. The service is scheduled to arrive before the second semester to the Americans.
Release Date and Values
Values of the new S6 devices have not yet been released, but it is known that they will arrive in stores on April 10.
