Motorola announced this week the new version of Moto E, the company's input smartphone. Nine months after the first release, the new device arrives with considerable hardware improvements, starting with the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor.
Among the main changes, we highlight the display that increased from 4.3 to 4.5 inches. There are also versions with 4G and Digital TV and the possibility of expanding memory with microSD card. Another novelty is the front camera (VGA), nonexistent in the first version of the device. In addition to hardware changes, the new Moto E will come from the factory with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The device starts to be sold this weekend on Motorola's official website and kiosks. The models and prices are as follows:
- Moto E 3G (8 GB) – R$ 569
- Moto E 4G (8 GB) – R$ 649
- Moto E 4G (16 GB + three coloured covers) – R$ 699
- Moto E 4G (16 GB + three color covers and digital TV) – R$ 729
Despite being considered an "input" smartphone, prices are a little high and we still don't know why. It is possible that Motorola will launch, in the meantime, an even cheaper smartphone. Nothing confirmed.
