The rumors raised last week were confirmed, Microsoft will announce the new version of its operating system in event on Tuesday (30). Called Windows 9 or Windows TH, the system should reach the market in the first quarter of 2015, following Microsoft's three-year calendar.
A novelty that matters is that Windows 9 will be free for those who already have Windows 8 and can upgrade to the new operating system once it is released. The company event with news ‘for Windows and companies’ will start at 14h (Time of Brasilia) on Tuesday, in São Francisco.
On the name "Windows TH", the reference was the word "Threshold", which could mean "entry" or "principle" and was how the system was known internally during its development. There is nothing official about the name yet, but in a lecture by the President of Microsoft in France, he released a "Windows 9" referring to the new system.
There are already some videos and leaked images of the new Windows on the internet and in them we can notice the return of Start menu, feature very requested by users, and multi desktop management.
