Hello friends, it is with pleasure that I come this Saturday afternoon to write this mini review of WordPress 2.7. He just left, and I've clearly done what I should as a good blogger. The changes were even in the look of the control panel, which was 98% more comfortable to use. No more pollution from the 2.6 look.

Despite being in its beta version, I did not find many mistakes, and what I found were things so stupid that they do not even deserve to be mentioned, because they will certainly be corrected. xP
At first glance, the look impresses by the wealth of detail and the Ajax a little more active in this version.

I talked about ajax because it was implemented so you can configure your panel according to your needs, moving the boxes to the desired place:

One of the news that I liked most was the implementation of QuickPress, which is nothing more than a box for you to post quickly, something that does not require much formatting.
Ex: Quick News, Short News, etc.

Another very interesting news is the side menu that comes with a very interesting feature, already used on several sites, including ours in the previous version, which is the menu-retractable, you click on setinha to the right of the menu, and it shows you the options available:

At the top of the panel, we have three shortcuts that greatly facilitate usability;

The post page has been completely reformulated and is much more comfortable to use. I tested her in several resolutions, in all of them she stayed In the right place. xP

Another novelty that deserves to be mentioned is the possibility of seeing the excerpt of the post on the management page. (Excerpt is the description you give to the article before it is published! 😉
