Flock the Internet Browser 3.0

Flock is a revolutionary internet browser, made with Mozilla source code, it was developed to meet the needs of modern user. The code of this new version has been rewritten, some defects have been corrected, but the base remains the same as the others.

O Flock it has the ambition to be its preferred browser, for this, it has several key characteristics, aiming at the new generation of "social" internet users. For this, it has full integration to blogs, photo sharing services, news, among others.

Installation

The practicality of Flock already starts at your installation, it matters from cookies, passwords, bookmarks, to the history of other browsers your system's standard, all this through an installer that will do all the hard work.

A different way to use bookmarks

With Flock A new concept of favorites arises, by the way, they are things that belong to the past, now they are called collections. You no longer need to separate them, instead of folders are sorted by categories, so it will be much easier to find your favorite link. Another interesting feature is the area of "scrap and drop" for favorite links, so just pull the link to the space reserved for this function.

Edit your blog

O Flock It has an integrated blog editor and to use it only takes your intuition. The browser already comes with several predefined blog services, but this does not prevent other services from being included.

And to make it easier, you don't need to type complicated codes to add photos or texts, you just drag the desired object into the editor window and release it, simple as that. Currently the editor supports the following services: WordPress, Blogger, Movabletype, MetaWeblog, LiveJournal, Drupal and TypePad.

Integration with Flickr and PhotoBucket

Have you thought about uploading your photos to Flickr with just a few clicks? No Flock this is possible, there is a bar at the top of the browser, which allows the user to view and upload photos directly from this feature.

Newsreader

It sounds unbelievable, but the Flock has more functions to offer, among them, the newsreader. The browser supports both regularly updated feeds and reading them. The name of this resource is called "My News", it gathers all its news in one place, making it very easy to see all the news.

And for you who are not used to RSS, don't worry, Flock facilitates your registration to receive feeds, so just that the page visited supports the feature. A small orange icon appears at the top, near the address bar, to sign up just click the left mouse button.

Our Opinion

O Flock It is a grateful surprise to people who are sick of the current navigators, who in the latest versions are heavier than ever. It presses for being too fast and light, not taking too much RAM memory from your computer. Not only that, it has other great features, such as the blog editor and the "intuitive" news reader.

Some things need to be improved, some searchers open up exactly in the tab that is in use, even bothering a little. In addition, you need to improve the security area a little, as automatic password saving comes as the default browser setting. Apart from these little defects (that do not take away their brightness), Flock It's impressive.
