Are you a little paranoid about your Internet security? Here are some tips to keep yourself a little safer while accessing your pages on promiscuous computers such as the school library, cyber cafe, etc.
1 -Be very careful when using your data on that computer, type, card passwords, bank account number, site logins you frequent, and etc.
2– By logging in to some site, like FaceBook or Orkut, the browser asks if you want to save the password for future access to the site. Always click never, or just don't.
3 – Pay close attention to the warnings that the internet browser shows you. Read it calmly and make the best decision.
4 – When logging into an instant communicator, never leave the option marked Remind me, because some of your data is still on the computer.
5 – Never close the browser directly, always log from any site before closing it. Every site with a login and password system, has a button or link to log in, normally in this link is written "Get out" or "Log out".
6 – Even by downloading from the site, clear the temporary files, delete the saved cookies and passwords.
You must be wondering how to do that? I'll show you how to do it on the three most used browsers.
In Firefox:
Click Tools, Clear Personal Data, or press Ctrl + Shift + Del.

On the pop-up you opened, check all the options and click Clean Personal Data.
If the option to clear User names and passwords is not enabled, don't worry, the browser is already set to clear this data by closing it.
Online Explorer:
Click Tools, Internet Options;

In the pop-up you opened, click Delete Cookies..., Excuir Files and then click Clear History. Okay, click ok.

On Opera:
Click Tools, Delete Private Data.

In the pop-up you opened, click Detailed Options, and check all options, so click Delete;

Well, with that you'll leave no trace of your activity on that computer.
7 – Do not save photos, documents or important things of yours on promiscuous computers. Use a virtual HD, o SkyDrive Microsoft has the option to create a private folder, which only you with login and password can access :-).
8 – Not satisfied with all this, wipe the clip-board. The clip-board, nothing more than the Windows clipboard. Everything you copy stays in the clipboard waiting to be pasted. You'll copy the email, or some password, or even the numbering of something important. To clear the clip-board, click Start -> Run, type "clipbrd" without quotes. In the window that opened, click the "X" button to delete the clip-board contents;
