Alex Kochis, Senior Product Manager of Microsoft’s Windows Genuine Advantage revealed:
If the system is not activated during the test period, it will also display an hourly message reminding users to activate Windows, plus a "watermark" will be notifying that the installed Windows copy is Genuine.
Alex also said that even changing the background of Windows, it always goes back to black and the user will not be able to update your system.
